We have been on an amazing journey over the past couple of years. God has blessed our church beyond our expectations. Pastor Paul has been teaching us about the 4 Pillars of Harvest and about the opportunities that we all have to participate in service. We firmly believe in Ephesians 4:12 “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ”

With this in mind, we have undertaken significant improvements and upgrades to our facility. We believe that the improvements will enhance the opportunities for ministry and outreach..

No doubt you have seen the removal of the extension that was on the west end of the building. This completes the first phase of a very exciting development that will add valuable space to support ministry growth and expansion. We will be replacing this space with a 2 story extension that will enable expanded space for meeting rooms, Harvest Kids space, administration as well as improved washrooms and kitchenette. Adding this additional space will significantly enhance all of our ministries.

We are very excited to see this project moving ahead. Over the past two years we have invested close to $300,000 in the facility on upgrades to the nursery and Harvest Kids space, lobby and washroom improvements, a new sound system and a significant roof repair..

God has blessed us with significant resources which has allowed for the improvements to date and a significant amount of the next phase. We believe that God will enable us to move ahead and to complete the remaining renovations with your help. The overall financial requirements for the next stage of the project is $865,000. We currently have cash on hand of $350,000. In addition to this we have already received commitments from the Elders and other ministry leaders in the amount of $245,000. This leaves us with the need to raise $270,000 to complete the renovation.

This is where you come in. We are asking for your prayerful consideration to financially support this ministry expansion. On the second page of this letter is a commitment form. Would you begin to pray about what God would ask you to contribute, over and above your current gifts. This will require sacrifice by all. The amount we are asking God to provide is equivalent to an additional one years tithe, given over the 30 month campaign.

For example:
If you are currently giving $50.00 per week prayerfully consider increasing it to $70.00.
If you are currently giving $100.00 per week prayerfully consider increasing it to $140.00.
If you are currently giving $400.00 per week prayerfully consider increasing it to $560.00.

We understand and appreciate that some of you may not be in a position today to be able to make that commitment. That is okay. Perhaps you can make a one time or quarterly gift sometime in the next two years. Please ask God to surprise you. Please print and submit in the offering plate or email your commitment form by December 12th, 2010.
